Bobcaygeon incorporated on June 17, 1876 and will celebrate the 150th Anniversary in 2026
The Bobcaygeon 150 Committee, chaired by John Bick, are coordinating the town’s efforts for the 2026 150th Anniversary celebrations. Infrastructure projects such as a town clock, an indigenous sculpture, lock side Bobcaygeon signage, commemorative items, a town video and public events throughout the year will mark this momentous occasion. The committee has applied for grant funding to help subsidize the June 13, 2026, main celebration date, but your financial support is needed to make up the shortfall for all planned events and projects.. Learn how you can help preserve local history. Kids can enjoy a Bobcaygeon-themed scavenger hunt and colouring activities, and visitors can explore historical photos on display in the branch available all day from 10am to 3pm
