Women’s Giveback

Our featured speaker, Ellen Watkins (CEO, Canadian Mental Health Association – Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge), will share a practical perspective on how integrity, purpose, mastery, and autonomy shape high-performing teams.

Tea & Talk The Trent Valley Navigation Company

Enjoy tea and homemade goodies as Barb McFadzen tells the story of TVN reflecting on a time when waterways were the highways of the region and Bobcaygeon was a bustling hub for both commerce and leisure.

The Trent Valley Navigation Company (TVN) was a steamboat and navigation enterprise based in Bobcaygeon in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It wasn’t a massive corporate behemoth, but it played a significant role in shaping travel, commerce, and tourism in the Kawartha Lakes region.
