Note: This turtle talk will cover the perils the Ontario turtles face on and off the roads, how we can 'effectively' help the turtles and the resources available to do so.

WATCH 4 TURTLE SIGNS

There will be 'Watch 4 Turtles' signs ($10) available to purchase. Your contribution towards a turtle sign purchased will help to fund the Turtle Guardians 'Tunnel and Trauma Campaign' - An effort focused on helping the Ontario turtles!

Tunnel: 50% Net sign sales (less sign supplies/materials costs ) will be donated to the Turtle Guardians to go towards assessing potential turtle tunnel sites throughout The Land Between region/central Ontario (Turtle Country and home to over 1/3 of Ontario’s turtles) and the implementation of proven mitigation measures.

Trauma: 50% Net sign sales (less sign supplies/materials costs ) will be donated to the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, presently home to Ontario's only turtle hospital, to aid in the treatment and recovery of injured turtles that have been admitted and are in their care.

TURTLE NEST PROTECTORS

There will be some pre-constructed turtle nest protectors available to purchase. The price is $12.75 each. This is the fee for materials only.
