We welcome you to Ambleside Cottage Resort, a family oriented resort, with 11 house keeping cottages on the shores of beautiful Sturgeon Lake, with a sandy beach and swimming area.
We are within walking distance of town, allowing for easy access to restaurants and shopping.
All cottages have 3 piece bathrooms, and the kitchens are fully equipped with stoves, utensils, pots and pans. Each cottage has a gas BBQ and picnic table.
You can tie your boat up at our dock, or rent one of ours for the day or week to go fishing, after which, you can enjoy a cold beer at the communal fire pit, or on the 3 Moons Patio down at the dock.
Wireless internet is provided free of charge. We look forward to welcoming you!

At this lovely 4 Executive bedroom 2 bath cottage within Bobcaygeon townsite, you’ll have all the benefits of both cottage and city living. Swim, sun, swing, large green space, shopping, dinners out or order in. It’s your holiday! Enjoy your meals in the dining room or dine at the table on the porch overlooking the lake. After dinner take a stroll to the famous Kawartha Diary for ice cream. Kids and adults alike love it. Bedroom one & two have queen beds. Bedroom three has a double bed & bedroom 4 has two twin beds. Bath one is a three piece. Bath two is a four piece.
Amenities:Bocce ball, volley ball, board games, cable TV, VCR/DVD player's, BBQ, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen/dishwasher, telephone, and huge flat Kawartha stone leads you step by step into the sparkling clear lake water.
There’s plenty of room to enjoy a game of bocce, volley ball or kick back with a book at the lake and watch the boats go by. One thing you won’t hear from the kids is “there’s nothing to do”.
