SKILLED TRADES SURVEY:
The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the continuing
success of the Ontario Business Survey Program.
Ontario is not producing enough skilled trades people to meet current
demand and this shortage could impede Ontario businesses’ ability
to compete and grow. The OCC is launching the following brief survey to
determine the current and future state of skilled trades as well as to
identify causes and potential solutions to the shortage.

MERCHANT DISCOUNT PROGRAMS:
Visa - Available only through TD Canada Trust. If your total annual Visa
volume is less than $500,000, electronic credit card transactions are
1.8%, manual/paper credit card transactions are 3.0% and debit card per
transaction charge is $0.12. To sign up, visit your local branch of the
TD Canada Trust and identify yourself as a Chamber member. TD Canada Trust
personnel may contact us to verify membership. For more information regarding

Mastercard - Available only through: Global Payments Canada Inc. Electronic
credit card transactions are 1.85%, paper credit card transactions (which
can only be deposited at National Bank) are 2.25% and debit card transactions

per page or 8¢ per page if you provide your own paper. We also have
faxing services, with the cost being $2.00 per outgoing page and $1.00
per incoming page (member discounts are available). Typing services are
offered for $2.50 per page.
