SUPPORT THE SHORTS:
Purolator is collecting nonperishable food items to donate to local food banks. Donations may be given to the Purolator drivers with cold legs and warm hearts for as long as they wear their shorts (October 18 - December 12) or donations may be dropped off at our office and we will pass them along to the Purolator driver. It is important, especially at this time of year, to remember the less fortunate.

DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS:
Our Christmas Festivities Committee has been busy planning many exciting events for the 1st Annual “Dickens of a Christmas” taking place December 7th through the 12th. This magical old-fashioned week will include a series of activities including “Festive Fare” featuring culinary delights presented by participating restaurants, holiday inspired decorating demonstrations, an evening of candlelight shopping, Carol singing, the lighting of “The Giving Tree”, the Santa Claus Parade (sponsored by the Kinette Club of Bobcaygeon) and nostalgic tours around downtown and uptown on the “Christmas Express”. Please watch for further information bulletins and flyers containing more details on these charming yuletide happenings.

SMALL BUSINESS LUNCHEON:
This year’s Business Connections Luncheon, held on Oct. 22, 2003, was another success. Valuable information was presented, business contacts were made and good food was served. Thanks to all who attended, participated or made a donation.
