SBW LUNCHEON:
This year’s Business Connections Lunch was a success. We wish to extend a thank-you to the speakers, whose presentations were interesting and informative. Also we would like to express our appreciation to Strang’s Valu-Mart, Tim Horton’s and the Kawartha Dairy for assistance with the food and beverages. FEAST O’ FALL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST:
Just a reminder there is still time to display your photography skills, but the Nov. 12 deadline is fast approaching. The Grand Prize is $500.00 with 1st & 2nd prizes awarded in each category. The categories are:

FORBERT MEMORIAL POOL:
Bobcaygeon Chamber of Commerce members are being offered a special corporate rate for Forbert Memorial Pool membership. The more members that join, the cheaper the fees become. For example, if we have 10 members who wish to join, individual memberships would be $136.00. If 20 members join, the rate drops to $88.00 per person. If 30 members join, the fee is reduced to $72.00. Memberships are for one year and include use of the workout centre, fitness classes and swimming pool. Please contact the office if you are interested in participating.
SISTERS PACE FITNESS DISCOUNT:

SPIRIT OF THE ARTS WEEK:
February 21 - March 3, 2003.
The Academy Theatre is looking for Bobcaygeon groups/singers/dancers to participate in this annual event next year. Performances may be held in libraries, seniors homes, daycare centres or churches and the Academy will help with co-ordination and marketing. Please contact Ray Marshall 324-9111 for more info.
TIMBERSPORTS 2002:
20th Anniversary Competition and Pro Show - Nov 9 & 10, Frost Campus, Lindsay. Competitors from all over North America compete in lumberjacking events. The amateur competition is held on Saturday with the professionals taking the stage on Sunday. Come and enjoy this family event. Phone 324-1983.
