WASTE REDUCTION:
The Recycling Council of Ontario (RCO) is a not-for-profit organization committed to minimizing society’s impact on the environment by eliminating waste. Waste Reduction week will be held in Canada from October 18-24 and the theme will be “Too Good to Waste”.
The RCO will be providing small/medium sized businesses with “Business Resourse Kits”, containing specific information, resources and tools to better guide and support the reduced costs and liabilities that careful environmental practices can bring.

These kits also include tools to help businesses begin to implement waste assessment and waste reduction action plans. In addition, and most importantly, the tools provided help to demonstrate and track potential dollars saved.
During the entire month of October, one day assessments will be offered to introduced companies to the concepts of waste reduction and the auditing process. Companies who register for this FREE Waste Assessment will be eligible on a first come first served basis. For more information and to register for the waste assessment program please visit www.wrwcanada.com or phone 416-657-2797
