CRUISEFEST UPDATE:
Many thanks must go to our Cruisefest committee for another wonderful
day! Another 200 barrier was broken for the Chamber with over 200 vehicles
entered in the show. The weather was perfect again , the music was great,
and the food was yummy! What more could you ask for a September Sunday.
Chairperson Barry Taylor and his committee of Joe Pollard, Norm Matthews,
and Don Brown, along with their many volunteers, deserve a big round of
applause and, again, our thanks.
FALL FAIR TIME:

KAWARTHA FARMFEST:
Join in on the 3rd Annual Kawartha Farmfest for a weekend driving tour
of farm attractions in the Kawartha Lakes. Come see the baby goats, get
your pumpkins fresh from the patch, ride and pony and much more. Meet
farm families and see demonstrations including spinning, country artisans
at work and professional pumpkin carving. 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on October

SMALL BUSINESS WEEK BUSINESS CONNECTIONS
LUNCHEON:
We are pleased to again present the Business Connections Luncheon as part
of the celebration of Small Business Week. This year it will be held in
the Caygeon Lanes meeting room on Wednesday, October 19th from 11:00 am
to 1:30 pm. Presentations on the HKPR Healthy Workplace Program and Stress
Management will be made, along with a chance to network over lunch. Cost
is $10.00/person and preregistraton is required. Please see our registration
