WELCOME NEW CHAMBER
STAFF:
We are pleased to announce that we have a new addition to the Chamber
family. Tara Blythe gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Saturday, July
16th, 2005 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Mother and baby are doing
well and we send them our congratulations.
NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING:
The Bobcaygeon & Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding
its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at the City of
Kawartha Lakes Service Centre from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Cost to attend the
meeting is $5.00 per person for refreshments with short presentations
by your political representatives. Please R.S.V.P. to the Chamber at 738-2202
by Friday, August 5, 2005 to reserve your spot.
KLACC BOAT CRUISE:
The Kawartha Lakes Associated Chambers of Commerce will be hosting
the 3rd annual Kawartha Summer Social boat cruise on |
Wednesday, August 17th, 2005 aboard the Chippewa
II for a 2 hour scenic cruise of Stony Lake. Boarding time for the boat
is 6:00pm to 6:30pm and the boat departs at 6:30pm sharp. Please send in
your registration form as soon as possible. FENELON FALLS STAMP CLUB:
The Fenelon Falls Stamp Club presents Fenpex 21 happening Saturday,
August 6, 2005 at the Fenelon Falls Senior's Hall from 10:00am to 4:00pm
with dealers, exhibits and prizes. For more information phone 328-0892.

DAYLILY FESTIVAL:
Cedar Ridge Gardens will be holding its Daylily Festival from
Saturday, July 30 to Monday, August 1, 2005 from

10:00am to 4:00pm at 1007 Pirates Glen Drive,
Bobcaygeon. There will be a large selection of great Daylilies available

THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED):
The Kawartha Settlers Village and the Driftwood Theatre Group
will be presenting The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)
on Thursday, August 4th at 7:30pm. This is an outdoor theatre presention.
The performance is pay-what-you-can and you are asked to bring
your own lawn chair. Last years presentation was outstanding and this
one, we are sure, will continue in the same tradition.
