DAYLILY FESTIVAL:
Taking place at Cedar Ridge Gardens on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July
27 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is expected that most of the 1000 or more
daylilies will be in bloom at this time and that the gardens will generally
be at their peak. Some local artists will be there displaying their works
and sketching in the garden. Refreshments will be served. Cedar Ridge
Gardens is located approx. 10 miles Northeast on Hwy 36 to Tates
Bay Road. Follow signs to 1007 Pirates Glen Drive. For further information

PIGEON LAKE YACHT CLUB:
Annual Regatta - August 16, 2003.
Celebrating 25 years of good sailing on Pigeon Lake.
- Registration takes place at the Club with continental breakfast 8:30
am to 9:30 am, followed by Skipper meeting and events of the Regatta will
be posted.
- All classes of sailboats are welcome. There will be Daysailer, Dinghys,
Keel Boats, M16, M20, E Boats and any miscellaneous classes.
- All boats are welcome.
- Registration includes lunch and supper.

ANNUAL MEETING INVITATION & CALL FOR NOMINATIONS:
The Bobcaygeon & Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Annual
Meeting on Wed. Aug, 13th at 7:00 pm in the meeting room at the City of
Kawartha Lakes Service Centre, Bobcaygeon.
The mandate of the Chamber of Commerce is to promote the civic, economic
and social welfare of the people of Bobcaygeon and vicinity, and to encourage
business and tourism. We plan to present how we have accomplished this
in our 2002/2003 year, along with our plans for the future.

Along with the Annual Meeting,
the Chamber is now accepting nominations for positions on its Board of Directors.
Anyone who would like to become a part of our vital organization and assist
with the direction the Chamber of Commerce will take in the next year is
invited to contact Darlene Keast, President (738-6498). The directors are
the life-blood of the Chamber and the time that they unselfishly
give promoting the area through our many programs and events is undoubtedly
the best advertising any business can receive.
