BOATING VISITORS:
As you know, we have many guests come to the area by boat or visit the
region to tour our lovely lakes. We have contacted the Kawartha Voyageur
and Waterway Tours for their schedules. We hope that this will help you
when scheduling your staff or any specials over the summer season.
The Kawartha Voyageur (which sails the Trent
Severn between Peterborough and close to Port Severn, offers a 5 day cruise
and carries 45 passengers) will be visiting Bobcaygeon on the following
dates:
July 6th
August 16th
August 26th
October 5th
October 15th
Waterway Tours (offers tours of Pigeon Lake
that run for about one hour) will be having several bus tours coming in
to Bobcaygeon. Here are the dates and the amount of people expected.
July 18th - 100 people
July 22 - 45 -50 people
July 30 - 45-50 people
August 24 - 45-50 people
August 25- 45-50 people

ANNUAL MEETING:
Please mark on your calendar that this year’s Annual Meeting will
be held on Wednesday, August 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. More details will
follow in the next Chamber Update.

ART SHOW & SALE:
Settlers’ Village is holding their art show and sale on Friday,
July 16 - 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday, July 17 - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
and Sunday, July 18th - 10:00 - 5:00 pm.
Come out and see works by many area artists. A variety of mediums are
used including watercolour, acrylic, pastel and oil. Subject matter varies
from florals, landscapes, wildlife and old buildings to abstract works.
The show will be held in the historic Murphy Barn and admission is free.
