STUDENT COVERAGE:
If a student in your family is enrolling outside your home province, make sure you understand how the move will effect his or her health insurance - under both government and private plans. Students who move to another province need to confirm whether their home province coverage will remain in effect. Before your student leaves home, you should take a few minutes to review your group plan’s full eligibility requirements for dependent students.
Brought to you by your Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan agent, 1-800-665-3365.

COMMUNITY FORUM:
You are invited to provide input into the City’s Strategic Plan for Parks, Recreation and Culture. The City of Kawartha Lakes is developing a Strategic Plan to guide City Council and Staff when making decisions about the parks, recreation and culture system over the next 10 years. Please attend one of three Community Forums to discuss:

  • How parks, culture & recreation facilities contribute to the quality of life that you value in City of Kawartha Lakes
  • If parks, facilities and programs can be improved in our community
  • How local residents can be involved in providing and maintaining parks, recreation and culture facilities in the future
  • How our parks and natural areas can be preserved and promoted
