BOBCAYGEON SENIOR CITIZENS CENTRE:
Is holding an Open House on Saturday, May 28th from 10am - 2 pm. The Senior’s
Centre provides social and educational activities to people over the age
of 50. It provides a smoke free environment for enjoying card games, shuffleboard,
keep-fit classes and carpet bowling. |
Members of the public interested
in joining are invited to come and meet club members and see demonstrations
of the various activities. Refreshments provided. 100 Head St, Bobcaygeon.
MODEL SHIP DISPLAY:
The Kawartha Marine Modellers are presenting a Model Ship Display at Kawartha
Settlers’ Village at 85 Dunn St. Come and learn about this fascinating
hobby. See ship models of a many periods, from tugs to battleships to
yachts to submarines, many of which are radio controlled. They will be
located in “Henderson House” on Saturday, May 21, 2005 from

HOUSE TOUR:
The Christ Church Anglican Women and the Trinity United Church Women present
their 13th Annual Bobcaygeon House Tour on Saturday, June 11, 2005 from
1-5 pm. Tickets are only $12.00 per person and include refreshments and
art show at Christ Church. Tickets are available at a variety of merchants
in town, as well as at our office. Adults only please. |
KAWARTHA VOYAGEUR:
The Kawartha Voyageur is a cruise ship which sails the Trent-Severn between
Peterborough and the Big Chute Marine Railway (close to Port Severn) and
carries 45 passengers.
In order to allow businesses to staff appropriately, here is a list of
the days it will be stopping in Bobcaygeon:
