New Owners of D.J.’s Convenience Market, Sam & Melinda Choi and John Son have been busy making renovations to their 232 Main St. location. Gas, videos, convenience store, carwash & laundry facilities are still on the premises.
John & Tracy Sinclair have recently purchased El Toro Restaurant and have given it and the menus a fresh new look. Drop by 38 Bolton St. or call Lorraine Fitzpatrick, the new manager, at 738-2883 to make your reservation for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

THANK-YOU TO SPRING SOCIAL COMMITTEE:
The Spring Social was another great success this year, with excellent food, fun raffles & auctions and wonderful prizes. Thanks to the Spring Social Committee for all their hard work in putting together such a terrific evening. Also, thanks to all who donated a prize for the evening.

AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE:
This year, the winner of the Citizen of the Year Award was Shirley Haberer. Our congratulations go to Rose Anne Kulmala, Business Leader of the Year. The Outstanding Business Achievement Award went to The Kawartha Dairy and the Outstanding Service /Volunteer Organization was awarded to Bobcaygeon & District Horticultural Society. We had quite a few nominations this year, and we would sincerely like to thank all those who took the time to put in their nominations and especially to those who were nominated. It is people like you that make Bobcaygeon the wonderful place it is!

CANADA DAY TWOONIE WALK:
Help Support Bobcaygeon’s Canada Day Celebration by donating a twoonie on Thursday May 12th & Thursday May 19 on Bolton Street or at the Village Gate Plaza.
