CHILI FEAST:
The Christ Church Anglican in Bobcaygeon will be holding a Chili Feast
on Saturday, May 3rd from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the church located on Sherwood
Street. Cost for entry is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under
the age of 12. Dessert and refreshments are included in the cost of entry.

TURN OVER A NEW LEAF:
The Health Unit in Lindsay is offering free programs led by a registered
dietician to help people turn over a new L.E.A.F. (Learn, Eating &
Activity Forever). There are four sessions (once a week), each session
lasting 2 hours in length. Come learn how to change your eating habits
versus going on a crazy diet, set practical attainable goals, read food
labels, cook quick, easy nutritious meals, be more active and more. Registration
is required and the first of the four sessions start on Wednesday, May
7th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Health Unit. For more information contact

SPRING FLOWER SHOW & MEETING:
The Bobcaygeon & District Horticultural Society will be holding a
spring flower show and meeting on Thursday, May 15th at the Knox Presbyterian
Church Hall on Joseph Street in Bobcaygeon. The flower show portion begins
at 6:30pm and meeting starts at 7:30pm. Speaker for the meeting will be

Griffin’s Garden Centre discussing the
topic of new trends and plants. All are welcome to attend with hands-on
demonstrations of container choices, soil, plant choices and fertilization.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
There is a Boat and Water Toy show happening June 20-22 at the new Lindsay
fairgrounds. Volunteers are required to promote the Bobcaygeon area. This
is a perfect opportunity to promote special events and/or Bobcaygeon in
