CITY SERVICES AFFECTED IN THE EVENT OF A STRIKE:
The City of Kawartha Lakes has released information on what services will be maintained in the event of a strike by CUPE 855. The union, representing 400 inside and outside workers, is in a legal strike position at 12:01 am on Saturday, April 23. While the City is optimistic and confident that an agreement can be reached,

residents should be aware that a number of services may be impacted in the unfortunate event of a strike.
A complete list of unaffected and affected services will be available for you to pick up in our office.

KLACC BUSINESS SOCIAL:
There are still a few opportunities to reserve a display table at the 8th Annual KLACC Business Social being held at the new Environmental Technology Wing at Sir Sanford Fleming College in Lindsay. This event takes place on Wed, April 11th from 5-8pm. Tables are only $25 and provide a great opportunity to show case your business to members from the Eastern Region, Lindsay & District, Fenelon Falls & District as well as our own Chamber.
