MISSION STATEMENT:
The Chamber has recently participated in strategic planning sessions in order to ensure that our organization is equipped to operate successfully in the future, to clarify our role in the community, identify goals and address issues. After a great deal of discussion and debate, our Board of Directors have decided on an updated Mission Statement:
“The Bobcaygeon & Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting and developing an environment that serves and supports business, tourism and the community.”

We look forward to continuing our role in assisting businesses and partnering with others in the community to help Bobcaygeon maintain its unique identity.

KLACC BUSINESS SOCIAL:
Plans for the 6th Annual Business Social, being held at Eganridge Inn are well underway. This is shaping up to be a great event, filled with networking opportunities, great snacks and a cash bar! Spa, golf and lunch packages are also available. Please click here for all the details, registration form and sponsorship opportunities. Display tables are also available (though only a few are left, so call us at 738-2202 to reserve your spot today!)
Thanks to our Platinum Sponsors: Coachlamp Homes & Collins Barrow.

SPRING SOCIAL:
Time is running out! There are only two more weeks to purchase your tickets for this elegantly casual evening filled with fun, games and great food, as well as a silent and live auction. Remember this is always a sold out event, so don’t delay. To purchase tickets or for more info, please phone 738-2202.

BEYOND THE CITY LIGHTS:
Please click here for information about the Rural Tourism Conference being held in Haliburton on April 20th. This conference is a must attend for tourism businesses and related stakeholders.

BENEFIT FACTS:
Group RRSPs Offer Advantages:
Remember that retirement savings accumulate over decades, in the meantime, you benefit from the flow of tax-free contributions to your registered account. And earnings in your registered account compound tax-free until you withdraw them. Ask yourself honestly what would you do with the money if you did not make your RRSP contribution. You would send a significant amount to Canada Customs and Revenue.
For more information phone 1-800-665-3365 or visit www.chambers.ca.
