We are still accepting nominations for Citizen of the Year, Business Leader
of the Year, Outstanding Service Volunteer Organization & Outstanding
Business Achievement Award. The nomination form and details of the criteria

Deadline for nominations is
March 28th at 5:00 p.m. The awards will be presented at the 7th Annual
Spring Social Banquet & Auction, being held on April 30th. Tickets
for the Spring Social are now available in our office.

CELEBRATE COMMUNITY MEMORIES:
At the 50th Anniversary of the Bobcaygeon-Verulam Community Centre. On
Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 7:00 pm there will be the Bobcaygeon Skating
Club Carnival, featuring guest performance by Don Jackson, Olympic Bronze
Medalist and Men’s World Champion. Tickets available at the door.
On Sunday, April 3 from 1-4 pm there will be hockey, music, social time,
pictures and memorabilia. For more information call 738-9999.
PROTECT YOURSELF FROM COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY:
The Bobcaygeon Community Policing Alliance, The Fenelon Falls Community
Policing Committee and the Ontario Provincial Police are pleased to host
this presentation presented by Manny Parreira, Bank of Canada. The presentation
runs from 7:30 am to 9:00 am on Wed, April 13 and takes place at the Bobcaygeon
Service Centre. A Continental Breakfast will be provided. For details
