Kawartha Lakes Tourism is looking for your enthusiasm and goodwill to
help staff the new and improved double booth at the upcoming shows outlined
below, where the Kawartha Lakes will be proudly showcased as one of Ontario’s
premier tourist destinations. Your knowledge and experience of our beautiful
area is invaluable and a great compliment to the show presentation. Here

AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE:
Don’t forget we are still looking for nominations for Citizen of
the Year, Business Leader of the Year Award and Outstanding Business Achievement

Deadline for nominations is March 28th at 5:00 p.m. The awards will be
presented again this year at the 5th Annual Spring Social Banquet &
Auction, being held on April 26th.
AGRI-TOURISM INFO SESSION:
If you are a tourist based business, a rural business, farmer or an interested
citizen, you are invited to this information meeting, which is to take
place Monday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 pm in Lindsay in the Victoria Room at City
Hall. Topics to be covered include; details of Government of Canada (CARCI)
funding, support for training related to the development and implementation
of business plans related to agri-tourism, promotional opportunities and
