A Very Merry Christmas and prosperous 2004 from your Chamber of Commerce.

After a year of SARS, West Nile and the absence of many of our American friends, we can only hope that the New Year will see a resurgence in our economy. Believing that Bobcaygeon has much to offer, the Chamber wants to help strengthen the appeal of the its business members and their products and services to attract more “outside spending” and encourage the expenditure of “local monetary resources” here, at home.

To that end, we are asking each and every one of you to think about how the Chamber and yourselves can work together on an effective, home-grown program to showcase the advantages of shopping locally. Then, with your ideas and a committee which will represent the business community at large, we will expand on those initiatives.

In the meantime, may you and yours enjoy a Festive Season.

From your Chamber’s Board of Directors and office staff, Cindy Snider, Tara Blythe and Chris Moore.

Sincerely,

Gordon Killen, President
